Slowly

Yesterday was a beautiful day . Papa and I are slowly getting the yard and gardens cleaned up  and gardens ready for planting . Slowly bringing out garden ornaments , patio table and chairs ,  and all things for the spring and summer weather . Papa had to fence off an area of the yard near our blossom tree as it gets very muddy there and with Miggs trampling through it , it doesn't help  the ground harden up or  grass  to grow in  that spot .  We had a lovely coat free day out side yesterday as we were puttering in the yard and even had a nice camp fire going .

Takes a bit longer to get things done out side as Papa and I take breaks to play with Miggs lol !

This beautiful Eagle was soaring over us yesterday , they usually keep close to the woods and fields but guess he thought he should check  us out in case we were disturbing any lunch out for him . .

Not only does spring bring out the birds ,critters and flowers . It also brings out the small aircraft we get flying over all spring , summer and fall . There is a small airport 20 min north west of us where a lot of  the small aircraft land and take off . This  sea plane  may of come from  lake  Erie , that  we  live a 5 min drive from .

Today it  is cloudy and  a bit chilly and damp  . The temps are  7°C or 45°F .   Miggs and I went for our walk this morning and  this afternoon and evening we are to get rain  .  April showersUmbrella bring May flowers !Red rose

Until next time my friends !

Great post! It is still a little chilly our way but yesterday was a lovely sunny day. We drove to one of our favorite parks and it was lovely to see the daffodils blooming. Have a great week :)

Love the eagle photo! It's a beautiful day here but we have heavy rain in the forecast for tomorrow. I saw a lot of robins on my way to and from town this morning. I'm enjoying the sunshine on the snow....it's melting it!! :)

Is't it lovely to enjoy the outside without heavy coats, hats and mitts? It's clouding over here with rain moving in around dinner time. I haven't put anything outside yet but I'm waiting ... the time to do that will be here soon.

Oh happy day and glad you take breaks. More enjoyable yard cleaning and Miggs loves it. We have a airplane also in our small town.

They take picture of your house .

Then near the end of the month. They come around with picture they have blown up. Asking you if you want to purchase it.

Our neighbor's at other house loved the idea. The wife bought it for an Anniversary gift for her hubby. He loved it.

Hi there, You have been very productive! We are just getting our current yard ready for when we put up this house for sale. We won't move into our new home until the first week of May. I can't wait; I always loved having a big yard but as I've gotten older I don't enjoy it as much. In fact, I can hardly believe it but I'm really looking forward to a smaller yard.
Glad you are keeping Miggs out of the mud. We had clouds today with tons of wind. I'm ready for calm, warm days.
Hugs, Noreen

That's a spectacular eagle!

And I'm not the only one who loves Miggs, I see!

Lucky you. We still have too much snow cover to do any clean up yet but it's pouring rain right now - that should help!
It's a messy time of year for paw prints isn't it?
