GOTCH YA !!!!!!!!

The other morning Papa noticed that my planters around our big tree were tipped over and dug through . Then later I noticed the planter on Papa’s sky shed deck and it had been mauled over only there were tail like drag marks in dirt heading off the deck . That's when I new it was a Racoon searching for grubs in the fresh potting soil . So near our big tree I removed the planters and Papa set the live trap and we put some sunflower seeds in a bowl in it and I know Racoons love veggies so from our dinner I put potato peels in there as well .

Well Papa came out early this morning before he left for work and sure enough look who got caught !

Caught 05 24 003

Papa said that he had a look on his face as if to say I am soo embarrass  I got caught ! Like he has done something really bad .

Caught 05 24 002

So Papa loaded him in the truck took him half way on his way to work and released him in the woods !  We don’t have any live stock here so it is a live trap we use and I really don't want to have to do the alternative as they are mother natures creatures and trying to survive in the wild the best they can !

Until next time , hope you all have a great day !

It is funny that God put such a cute face on something that can quickly resemble a Tasmanian Devil!
:D Glad you caught him before he did any more damage and that he can count on more adventures. We live in town and see more of those than we do cats!

Normally I find these little guys so cute and always ask Mr. T to relocate, don't shoot them....but after the week we have had, they are not as cute to me.

Good for you. It will be fine and can't survive about anywhere. Beautiful.

Oh my...just last night I happened to look up at the top of my neighbor's house and perched right on the very top of the chimney was a racoon! He was just chillin' up there, looking lazily at me from above. I quickly called my daughter to grab the camera. I know the mess and chaos they can do if they get in a house, but this was adorable. You see our neighbor passed away recently (95 years young) and this coon looked like he was just watching over the house. I have no idea how long he was up there but he was napping for sure. He would just put his face down until I would make some noise and he would wake up in a slow slumbering kind of head bob. So cute! Ha!
