Bird Watching

Harley is an indoor cat . Her life started as a stray here , but she now has no desire to go out there again even if it is to just  romp around in the grass , she is afraid of being outdoors  , I think it could of been from when she was younger fighting to survive  out there every day !

Harley enjoys sitting on the windowsills watching the birds from inside the house .

I have Hummer feeders hanging from the patio and a window one just above her !

When she sees a bird that's very close she starts to  meow and purr it’s as if she is talking to them  !

This photo she is purring and talking to one of the birds that's down on the grass , it’s cute to hear her ! Harley also does this when she is answering me and she does talk to you smart kitty she even sits up and says please with the touch of her paw to your hand for a treat !

The weather has been wonderful and this long weekend it is to be awesome all sun and warm . The best part is my garden center I like to go to has a huge sale for this Victoria long weekend and I am a goin flower shopping  WOOHOO ! So this weekend I will be busy flower planting in my gardens and planters.

Until next time hope you all have a great day !

We used to have an indoor cat that made those funny noises when she'd watch a bird. Sooooo funny!

She sure is a pretty kitty. I like it when they watch birds and kinda nice when they don't even try to go outside. Our cat is the opposite, he used to be a house cat now he don't even want to come in if the door is open for him.

Aw... what a sweet kitty! She sure is cute. I think it would be fun to watch her looking at the birds and talking to them. So sweet. I guess she and Miggy get along well too.

At our old house we set up one of those squirrel feeders for our indoor cats to watch. They would sit on a chair and look out the window but the squirrel never noticed them. The tree was very close so it was a great view. They would make noises and twitch their tails. Harley must love it as much as mine did.

Nice shots of Harley! Your post made me smile. :-) My Rupert loves to watch the swallows who build a nest in a corner of the front porch. He always "talks" to them, too. Love that Harley says "please" for a treat...too cute!

Lovely shots of Harley, it always makes me smile to hear them 'muttering' to themselves when potential victims are in sight !
Our Oliver was a stray also, he's not going anywhere :)
