Like A Fish Out Of Water

                                 Literally !!

Yesterday morning when Miggs and I got home from our walk all was good ! I then went in to do some dishes and then after I went to check on Miggs to see where she was   ,well she was busy rolling like crazy on something out in the middle of the yard ,   what ?! I had no idea but it must of smelled good cause she did the head first full body roll then got up and did it again ,  I get my shoes on and go out to see what the heck has her so interested , at first from a distance in the grass I thought it was  a bird feather  then I thought to myself no she doesn’t do this to bird feathers  she would be rolling for days in our yard with all the birds we have around . As I got closer I couldn’t believe my eyes , how the and what the heck I thought to my self then I said  Miggs get away from it ya nut  as she was as proud as punch, looking at me tail wagging as if to say look what I found mum !! Well I think you have guessed it by now .. yup a dead fish , a  fish  ? I asked myself  , I don't know what type but a fish??  I was  a bit dumbfounded at this as I think most would be lol , where the heck did that come from ?   I asked myself , considering the lake is miles or here kilometers away  I mean the saying like a fish out of water really meant that this time lol  oh don't tell me they are falling from the sky’s now  Naaaah  !! that’s silly  , We have a lot of large prey birds here and I think one may have dropped the fish on his way over , there goes  his breakfast  and not to be mine , looked a bit mingy lol ! Miggs obviously thought it was awesome lol !  The things one sees in the country !

Well that’s our excitement   for the week so far lol , We are in a torrential down pour right now and high winds and  oh boy is it humid and sticky , big storm system for the night  ! I am still struggling with tooth  and jaw pain I have a dentist but he is booked till late October , really ? what happened to the days you could call and go in the same day absolutely ridiculous  so until I find a dentist that can take me soon I am also a chicken and big scaredy cat when it comes to dentists  I am just sucking it up buttercup  and taking Advil  for the pain which for me works better then Tylenol that does nothing for me not even the extra strength  !

Until next time my friends watch out for falling fish lol !

Well, I never! (Well I did but that's another story!!).
I'd have love to have seen your face when you first saw the fish!!

PS Does fish smell better than skunk,Miggs?

I would assume it involves a bird picking up the poor thing. You'd have noticed a tornado, which can sometimes do the same thing.

Miggs must have been fascinated.

This post gave me a chuckle. What a find and Miggy obviously loves her eau do blek fish. That smile on her face made me smile yet again.

Then I read about your tooth. I feel for you as I know what it is like and it is the pits. I hope you can get in to see somebody real soon because I hate the thought of you having to put up with that kind of pain. Is there a walk in clinic you could go to for some strong painkillers? I know that would be a last resort but just a thought.

That is really something to have a fish fall into your own backyard...your dog must have been *so* delighted!

Too bad about having to wait so long for the dentist appointment; I'll be praying you won't be in too much pain. God bless!

Well blow me down. I thought Miggs got sprayed again from Mr. Skunk.

They are bad this year.

Yes a bird. I tell you why. We have a lake in far off distance .

I was sitting enjoying my sit in chair three years ago.
And flop came a duck. Scared the geepers out of me.

So I can understand you being floored as what and who? Flop.
Wow a good sized of fish.

Oh sweetie so sorry for you and your tooth. Will jiffy help you. remember that.

One of my family members used similar to jiffy for tooth relief.

They have something like that.

Ask your pharmacist.

oh Miggs face is such a thinker.
Adorable. I just called my hubby to see your blog and show him Migggs again.
What a beautiful dog he said.

I said this is the ladies blog who helped with Teddy a year ago.

Then I showed him the fish. He said now Miggs has something to think about.

What the fiddles did that come from.

You should of called him Thinker.

You can delete this. It is taking your page from you.

I've heard of the saying raining cats and dogs ... but raining fish :) Some poor bird of prey will be wondering what happened to his breakfast.
We had pouring rain overnight and early this morning and now it has really cooled down.

How weird is that?

That is too funny. Dogs do love to roll in 'things' like other animal droppings. Gross!

Oh no on the toothache. Are there no emergency dentists in your town? I couldn't imagine waiting in pain for months.
