It was a perfect weather wise weekend. You got lots accomplished with the wood pile. We spent most of the time outside ... building the bridge, edging the garden with wood. We sure used up a lot of our old wood as well :)

Making wood is hard work! Kudos to you two for tackling that task.

Wow, a massive amount of work and wood for you to cut and move! I guess that you will be fairly well set for winter and some summer time around the fire pit! Glad that you have been having a nice time, even if it has been hard work. Happy summer! xx

That's a lot of work. Though Miggs seems quite happy to supervise.

It looks like you have a great firepit and much wood to go in it.

That's a great job done! I like your fire pit. We need to make ours over. Where do you buy a grate like that? It's a gorgeous day here - very summery. :)

What a job! But I bet it's a beautiful site to see all of that fire wood stacked and ready for the winter fires.
Miggs is as cute as ever.

Elaine girl that is a "pile" of work to get through and yes .. as we get older (yuck) more breaks are needed for sure! ...
Miggs looks so cute ! .. she should have a calendar. I'm sure she would have a great pose for each month!

I well remember the hard work of stacking wood-we used to have a wood burning fireplace in Ca. and every year would get two plus cords of wood. It was already cut but we'd move it and restack it. I bet it felt so nice to have the job done. Your garden looks lovely.
Have a great week.
Hugs, Noreen
