What Will I Find ?

I just go out with camera in hand and look around as to what things I can find to photograph be it pretty , odd looking or just plain weird lol !

Summer 2013 (2 of 32)

I have no idea what bug this is but it looks weird . Almost scorpion like !

Summer 2013 (3 of 32)

Summer 2013 (9 of 32)

We have hundreds of these Cabbage moths around some are white and others are a soft yellow !

Summer 2013 (7 of 32)

They love to feed on wild aster flowers !

                          Summer 2013 (15 of 32)

In an old stump I found a half of a walnut and a snail  !

Summer 2013 (23 of 32)

Summer 2013 (26 of 32)

A leaf suspended in air whilst tangled in a web .

Summer 2013 (30 of 32)

Mr Dove high in the tree watching me out of the corner of his eye wondering what the heck  is that wacky women up to now  with that strange thing in her hand !

Summer 2013 (17 of 41)

Small air planes fly over quite often as there is an air port for personal and commercial air craft not far from us and we are in their flight path !

Summer 2013 (6 of 41)

To most people this is just a pile of rocks but to me it is a photo of unusual textures with the odd sparkle ! I see in images my eyes are like the lens and my lids are the shutter and my mind keeps the image like the camera lol everything  to me has the potential to be photographed no matter how boring it may be there is always something interesting to find in a photo  that one may not see with the naked eye  if that makes sense lol… Ok I am batty at times when it comes to photography  or  just a snap happy nut !

Until next time …. hope you have a good day !

Great collection of images! That first image is very nice; the bug does look like a scorpion! And that tree stump is great. And that leaf in the web. Haha...okay, I guess I like quite a few of them....

There are so many things to photograph!

I believe that is a scorpion fly and sure looks like yellow jacket paper wasps in your bottle. Take care their sting is awful.

I love the flower shots. Of course all are good as always.

The everyday photos are just as nice as the planned photos. Just as we got out of the van yesterday we spotted a great spangled fritillary on the lady's mantle, out came the cameras and we snapped several photos. We had just been out to capture some photos of a great blue heron and another black crowned heron at a pond behind our local dairy.

You found some interesting things to photograph. I have seen that strange bug here too but don't know what it is. Pretty cabbage moths. Lots flitting about here too. We cut down a few of our fir trees and the two that are left don't have cones this year. Last year they were loaded and are such a mess to clean up in the spring. Enjoy your day. Pam

I'm with you with always imagining the photograph. It drives my family mad on trips out. I conjure up a story in my head and describe what I am seeing, so I perfectly understand the textured rocks. The different greys, the contrast of the green. Great shot!! As to the bug, after being stung a number of times by a wasp last week, whatever that thing is at the stinging end would sure hurt! Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Chel x
