Still Going Strong

Despite the cooler temps at night  some of the flowers in the gardens  are still going strong and doing well .  Bees of all kinds are gathering as much nectar as they can whilst the flowers are still in good shape .

The hummers are hanging in there to drinking up lots of home made nectar from the feeders !

I love the orange of the old fashioned Marigolds and they last from spring right until the first hard frost !

Bit by bit the land is changing as are the gardens but for now we can still enjoy them !

Until next time … have a snap happy day !

Beautiful fall photos! Your flowers are still very bright and lovely. The hummers have gone as of just a week ago. There were a few around last Monday then Tuesday - none. We had frost here last night but the day is beautiful and sunny. Enjoy your day.

Afternoon, your flowers re still so pretty, love the Million Bells, I think that's what they were....I have not seen a Hummer in awhile here now, but kept the feeder out.......Miggs is looking good....love the chilly mornings, that hot cup of coffee is great....Blessings Francine.

You still have lots of pretty flowers in your garden to welcome autumn. Lots of pollinator activity here too.
It was just above freezing when I walked our dog this morning, but it warmed up enough to do some garden work this afternoon for a few hours.
Our hummers must be gone, haven't seen one for a while. That is a great photo of one at your feeder.

We changed our garden flags this week too. There was a little bit of frost this morning but it turned into a gorgeous day.

I like the feeling in the air as fall approaches. And it's going to be the coldest night we've had in months here with temps down into the 50's--With my husband out of town, I'll have to throw another dog on the bed to keep warm! :-)
