Papa’s Photos

A few nights ago we had pretty bad storms , lots of wind blowing , rain coming down every which way and lighting all around . Most of the lighting was sheet with a few bolts here and there . At first when Papa started to take photos it seemed to  be mainly heat lightning  just before the actual storm hit.

There were so many heavy dark clouds the lighting just seemed to stay in the clouds .

I like the way the lighting lights up the clouds edges !

Papa wanted to go out side to get the photos of the lightning like he usually does but not this time it was to risky .. ya never know where it will strike .

Papa seemed a bit disappointed that he didn’t get photos of bolts but I think these photos are great .. they still show the eeriness , and mystery of the sky and  the wow of the lighting with in it !

Until next time … have a snap happy day !

Nice photos. I'm glad he stayed safe and didn't go outside. I love to watch a storm approaching late in the evening.
Blessings,

The are wonderful photos that really do share what is going on in the sky.

Yes better not to take risks with lightning. Great photos anyway.
