Lovely September Weather

It has been so nice  with sunny warm days  cool winds  nights and mornings .

Summer 2013 (2 of 2)

The sky's have been a lovely blue with big puffy clouds floating by ! I have been slowly cleaning up the gardens as flowers and bushes  come to the end of their season . The sunrises and sun sets have been beautiful ! Most of our summer birds have migrated but the hummers are hanging on filling their tummies to prepare for their long journey soon ! The Blue jays are now back in full force squawking their heads off and the Cicadas sound like they are having a buzzing competition here !

I had to get some photos of the clouds last evening as the sun was setting . It was lovely , crickets chirping cool breeze blowing and clouds taking on so many different formations and colours  !

Miggs is my gardening buddy and photo buddy .. she always wants to know what I am up to lol !

Summer 2013 (35 of 39)

Soon Miggs will be having fun jumping  in the leaves as she does every fall when Papa and I rake them up .

Todays weather is just as lovely as yesterdays ! Fresh and cool with sunshine and breezes  16°C or 61 F !  The mornings have been great for our walks .  The evenings and nights have been down to 10°C or 50°F and lower ! Slowly signs of fall are popping up . Soon it will be time to get the slow cooker on the go for soups and stews and the woodstove crackling , all comfy cozy  .

It looks and feels just like that here today too! They are calling a frost warning for all of NB tonight which is very early for it. I hope it doesn't happen! I'll have to cover things tonight for sure and bring in my hanging baskets. The sun is lovely but the wind is cool. Enjoy!

Such lovely photos. The weather has been ideal here. Let's hope for a nice autumn. And a LONG autumn. So that winter will be really short.

Wish some of that cooler weather was around here, but we are still dealing with heat and humidity and sadly a lack of rainfall to clear the air. Lovely skycaps, Elaine.

We've had our windows open the last 2 nights and that feeling of fall is coming--Our hummingbirds are getting to be a rare sight, but I keep the feeder up, for those little stragglers.

Wonderful post as always. I'm loving the cooler mornings. Miggy is our little star :) We're still traveling and are in North Dakota for the next couple of days.

Miggs is adorable. I envy your cooler weather. It is still very hot here. 95 degrees F. It is also dry. We have had some lovely sunsets!
Blessings,
