Spring Days

Spring has finally arrived here for good . We had our first spring thunderstorm and rains last night . The grass is greening up and all the bulbs in the gardens are rising higher from the ground every day !  The buds on the trees and bushes should be blooming soon . Birdies are singing their beautiful songs and the air has warmed up as has the winds . Right now the temps are 11 °C or 52 °F .

Harley is very happy spring is here as I can have the windows open now and she love’s going from window to window watching the critters and the birds and get some fresh air !

Critters are out and about more stuffing their faces and trying to avoid Miggs !

Miggs spends her day’s out side watching all that goes on in the back yard ! After we go for our walks in the mornings !

All the birds are busy scratching and collecting twigs and bits of grasses to start making their nests !

The sun is peeking out every now and then this late morning as the clouds slowly collect for possibly more rain for later this afternoon .  April showers bring May flowers . I saw some bugs flying around earlier and a bird chasing one for his breakfast . The Robins  have been chirping and singing my favourite songs and have been swarming the lawns gathering up grubs and worms as has the Northern Flickers and lots of Starlings and Grackles as well . The Song Sparrows  or Field Sparrows are singing in the trees at the edges of  fields and woods , they sound so pretty  as are the Redwing black birds , Eastern Blue birds  and Killdeer   .

Sounds and sights of spring are in the air as the chain saws are going in the distance , neighbours  busy cleaning up their gardens and lawns from the cold long winter we had as the smell of yard clean up  fires drift in the air .  Neighbours are out and about the village valley walking enjoying the fresh air and nature  with a friendly hello or a chat !

I am happy spring has finally arrived here !

Until next time hope you all have a good day !  Thanks For Popping By !

That bit of rain we had last night has already made the grass look a bit greener. I've been moving some pots outside to the plant tables so the rain that is due tonight can soak them through. I've moved a few garden decorations outside as well. Cant wait to really get stuck into the garden cleanup.

Hey there! I know this is sort of off-topic however I needed to
ask. Does managing a well-established website like yours require
a large amount of work? I am completely new to writing a blog however I do write in my journal on a daily basis.
I'd like to start a blog so I can share my own experience and views online. Please let me know if you have any recommendations or tips for brand new aspiring bloggers. Appreciate it!
