Papa bought this gift for me from my Aunt Marylin for my B-day back in March . Marylin hadn’t finished it in time for my B-day but that’s ok . It is beautiful and she put a lot of work into it ! Both my Aunt and my mom in law do cut glass . They can make anything . I have a butterfly lamp shade , A horse head and now this lovely horse and her foal made by them .
Their work is beautiful . They sell their work as well . Mom did a few different items for a client and it took her some time to finish them as this work can be tedious , but they enjoy doing it ! It is their hobby .
I have other cut glass work hanging in my windows from other places ! I love how the sun captures them all !
Yes I need to clean my windows lol !
Aunt Marylin made this horse for me at Christmas ! Pretty !
My mom in law made this for me last year for my B day ! Isn’t it lovely.
These two I bought from a store !
Mom bought this little candle holder for me as I love butterfly's !
I also have a frame made from cut glass with butterfly’s . They bring so much light and brightness into a room !
There are so many different crafts out there . There’s nothing like a hand made craft that's for sure !
The sun is shining and the air is still cold but it is to warm up , I just hope the winds warm up as well .
Until next time hope you all have a good day !
Thanks For Popping By !

Just beautiful. I have several pieces that hang in windows as well. The sun (when it is out) shines through them so well. It's sunny today, but still a bit windy but the temperatures are on the rise.
I see you have a birthday in March, so do I ... all the great people are born that month :)
These are so beautiful! I would love to have these hanging in my windows!
they're all so pretty
You are amassing a beautiful collection of stunning work. I love how the light comes through them into the house.

I am a big fan of stained glass. We have a big piece in our bathroom window instead of a blind.

These are very pretty stained glass. I have a few pieces that I treasure, including one we bought over 30 years ago, it's the Lone Cypress from Monterey. I can remember the lady's face that I bought it from, remember her house we visited to pick it up. I also have one of a sea otter that I bought from Friends of the Sea Otter in Monterey. Your post has brought back a lot of memories as I looked at all the pretty pieces you have.
What a lovely gift, Elaine. Both your aunt and mom do lovely glassworks.
