Before The Rain

Yesterday morning was nice out but the clouds were slowly rolling in for the rains in the afternoon . Papa put the cutting deck on his tractor and away he went to make the first cut of the season !

Here you are with flowers in bloom and the lawn being cut. We are a bit behind you yet. The lawn is very green now, however so wet. I love listening to the Sandhill Cranes in our bush morning and night. Enjoy your day.

We can't put hummingbird feeders out because the bears go for them...the hummingbirds have to rely on flowers here.

You take the best photos. To catch that little bird with her mouth open and singing is awesome. Miggy sure likes to help with the chores.

Hard to believe this was the first lawn cutting, but then your weather was colder for longer than ours. We have cut the lawn at least 4-5 times now. And we have had nearly 3 days of rainy and cooler weather, so will be cutting again by the weekend.
