The New Bird In The Yard

The weather has been lovely the past few days all though the winds have been chilly still today as the day went on the winds warmed up . I have been doing a lot of bird watching and photography as this time of year if your lucky to see or find breeds that haven’t visited your area before or they have , you just haven’t seen them .

Meet  Mr  Brown Thrasher click name for info !

This guy I have never seen here before . I heard an unusual bird sound and saw this at the top of our Cedars . I didn’t want to get to close as I didn’t know how skittish he was and didn't want to miss any shots of him whether they be near or far away !  I took about 5 shots each one closer and closer till he flew away . So I hope to see him again soon as he is the New Bird In The Yard !

I love birdies and bird photography ! Open-mouthed smile

Until next time  , Thanks for popping By !

Oh that is a wonderful picture of your brown thrasher. Exciting to see a bird for the first time. I saw one for the first time in Chincateague at a visitors center. I overheard a lady say its name and said it was the first one she had seen this season. I took some pictures of it and will share sometime. The weather is warming up here tomorrow. Hope it will for you too.
