It Was A Quiet Weekend .

Yes it was a quiet weekend this past weekend for Papa and I , not much going on , the weather was quiet as well with sunshine and clouds here and there all though the temps were chilly but still a nice and quiet weekend  . We just puttered about here and there , went for walks with Miggs who is doing well and her leg is almost back to normal  and she is becoming more like her old self again all though she does tire out faster these days poor old dog .

I went about here and there and took a few photos but for now there really isn't a lot to photograph as the land and yard is still in transition from season to season and it seems to be fighting between the seasons a bit but they said that by the end of the week we will have warmer spring temps  and rains and that will be the start of our warmer weather and  old man winter  with his chillness will officially be done  , I hope they are right .

                    Its nice to see the gardens , trees and bushes all budding and growing.

                 

 All my Lilac bushes like this one in pic above are in full bud and I cant wait for them all to bloom . I have 4 different colours and they all look soo pretty each  spring and smell wonderful .

I just love how early the sun rises and how late the sun sets now and the colour of light it shines on everything .

I also love these clouds that look like they are in 3d in the sky filled with silver linings as they float over the valley  and our house  .

Soon it will be time to be outside more and get the yard and gardens ready for the season and have a few camp fires on the go , oh I cant wait .

In the mean time I will just keep  watch and try to capture more of spring  here and there .  I am happy to report that all our spring birds even the Song Sparrow that I was worried about not showing up  as he usually did is back to and they all sound so wonderful as their songs echo through out our valley and in our yard as they come to feast , perch and nest . Chipmunks have been busy back and forth very fast as they to fuel up from their slumber and get going with what chipmunks do . All is coming alive in and on the land once again  , oh and I heard the peepers last night to, I do love the sound of them , so spring is looking up for us here and I know all are happy about that , that's for sure. Well that's about it for me for now , hope where ever you live spring has truly  sprung .

SURPRISE !!!! REALLY?!

                                         YIKES  !! Look what we woke up to this morning .

Snow REALLY ?!  , first thing I said when seeing this and then I said this,  ok I have had ENOUGH !! Go away  Old Man Winter,  Mrs Spring it is to be, me rolling eyes at the time and 😝 it all !

                    Well it was very mild out and the snow that was falling was very wet . Accumulating more then I wanted though .

But because it was so mild out it made it all so pretty and pleasant to be out in really ! Quiet and serene it was  so quiet I could hear the snow fall and land on everything .

So I decided to get out there with Miggs and enjoy it regardless of how I felt about having this much snow dumped on us after having lots of spring scenery .

Miggs and I went for a walk as it slowed down snowing and started to brighten up . We enjoyed our walk  and realized that it all was starting to melt fast already .

Miggs is doing well and  continues to improve with her leg , walking and strengthening it more and more each day .

 It was a lovely walk . Now the sun is shining as it is popping in and out and it is warm , the temps have risen even more  ,  the snow is melting fast  as it all drips off of everything now . The trees are almost bare of snow already and the road is just about clear , wet and slushy for now .   Old man Winter may have reared his ugly head for us earlier today but the warmth of the sun, land and Mrs Springs temps have got the better of him this time , like the wicked witch, he is MELLLTING !!!  happy dance here 💃 !  la la la , cha cha ! lol !
