This morning when I woke and looked out the window the land was covered in frost and fog . I made a cuppa tea and let Miggs out to do her business this was at 7am and I got a whiff of the fresh crisp cold and damp air . Well …you know what comes next … yup out I went with camera in hand , this time I got dressed and didn't take these photos whilst in my jammies lol it was that bone chilling damp cold BRR !

Foggy and frosty a strange combination but interesting !

The lighting out there was still dusk again another light versus dark challenge for my photography !

The hush that was over the land , was deafening as I could swear I could hear the frost crackling as the fog moved over it all .

It was pretty and quiet yet eerie at the same time , beautiful really !

I hunted in the fog for things to photograph that were touched by the frost . It was all so weird as the fog was warmer then the frost and gradually started to melt the frost as it cloaked over it all !

I was in awe of this strange happening between the fog and the frost !

Juniper trees/ bushes are so pretty when frost is upon them and lots of berries on them deep on the underside to make them even prettier !

I then spotted my wacky fungi that has taken over the old stump on our little hill in the front !

This fungi just keeps getting bigger and bigger !
And for ever changing and looks amazing with a touch of frost on it ! Looks like something out of the sea don't you think ?

This old stump never fails with the amount of fungi that grows on it with all it’s different shapes and sizes !.

As the morning went on the fog took over the frost and started to melt it as the temps also began to rise , I then saw Mr Cardinal and his buddies at the feeder having breakfast . I noticed the feeder was low so off I went to fill it up for them and the other feeders to .

I think at this point he was looking at me as if to say ( hey lady we are low on food here) !!!! Cheeky thing lol !
So off I went and did that and that is when Miggs and I also went for our walk and no I left my camera at home the moister was starting to fog up my lens sometimes that happens when you get two different types of air at the same time and lots of moister ! They say it is to be sunny I hope so , it has been a few days since we have had sunshine . Looks like it is trying though, cross my fingers and toes we see the sun !
I love to get out there and explore with my camera as I never know what nature has to show me !
Until next time .
