Even Mr Squirrel was getting in on the act and not to pleased with the lack of food in the feeders !

FEBUARY 2015 (13 of 16)

Just after 4ish  the sun peeked out ever so slightly and Papa got home from  work with a trunk full of big bags of bird seed . They all new he had more food as they were chirping like mad as he carried it all to my shed  and as I was filling their feeders up whilst Papa got the the snow blower going .  So the birds and critter feeders are all filled up now  ,snow fell a bit more  We went in for supper and  I watched them feast once again through my kitchen window whilst I was making supper  and all was happy .

The sun is shining this morning but it is cold out -20°C Feels like –30°C or -4°F Feels like -22°F another Extreme Cold Warning is across the board  for today ,  but the falling  snow has stopped  for now and  all the birdies and critters are back at the feeders again  this morning for breakfast ! I will bundle and layer up and Miggs and I are off for a nice walk as the sun shines and the fresh crisp cold air keeps me moving  with nature sights and sounds  all around me  .

                                                                                 Until next time

  2. Love those cardinals. I have a male and female at my feeders that I love to see but are very hard to photograph as they leave as soon as I approach. Not like the chickadees.

  7. It is good that you keep the feeders topped up because the birds come to depend on it don't they. xx

  10. So pretty all these little critters in your garden and they keep you busy dragging food. As I see you have a cold and long snowy winter.

  12. I've had to be out of town, and today I also filled my feeders for the first time in over a week -- I love hearing the birds calling to each other when I'm out there. I'm also glad I got them fed, they're cold, and so am I! :-)
