About 1 1/2 weeks ago (the weekend), our furnace stopped working for almost the full weekend and it was -30°C with the windchill. What an awful weekend that was. And then like you said, a few days later all the snow was melting. As soon as I saw the grass I had spring fever. I guess I need to be patient though, especially since it's all covered up with snow again LOL. I love your bird picture. The Downy Woodpecker here is the head honcho (at least when the blue jays aren't around). As soon as he flies up, everybody leaves and won't come back until he's gone. Have a great week.Kelly @ Homespuns 'n Hayfieldshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09520890374028112228noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7351405029101697801.post-40575107364776367312018-01-17T08:31:01.489-05:002018-01-17T08:31:01.489-05:00Hello, I am glad the surgery went well. We had some snow overnight, not a lot, but I'm not venturing out today to go for our walk, used the treadmill instead. Will get out a bit later on and shovel the paths to the feeders and get them all filled once again. The birds are just about all back now, probably thanks to the bluejays who squawk and squawk upon finding the peanuts. :0Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02114199768103222510noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7351405029101697801.post-10609674667075448712018-01-16T09:59:51.020-05:002018-01-16T09:59:51.020-05:00Sorry to hear that Miggs has not been well, but I ...Sorry to hear that Miggs has not been well, but I hope that she is on the mend now.
