The problem we have seen with the hybrid is they are often fairly wild but with less inbred fear of humans so very bold and at times aggressive Sherry Sikstromhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15739108723318002627noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7351405029101697801.post-543229778069155682013-11-02T23:15:51.569-04:002013-11-02T23:15:51.569-04:00I saw the program on Nature of Things where the wo...I saw the program on Nature of Things where the wolves and coyotes are cross breeding. Whe...Brilliant photos and a very interesting post. When I was on vacation a couple of years back, one of my most memorable moments was to hear wolves howling in the distance. It was early morning and I was sitting on the porch in front of our cabin looking at the Grand Teton as the light was just about to break over the mountains. Magical! And I might have told you this story before but its one that keeps coming back to me every time I hear mention of wolves ;)DeniseinVAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08494518513936310345noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7351405029101697801.post-720155325266501772013-11-02T21:22:19.163-04:002013-11-02T21:22:19.163-04:00Foxes are beautiful...watch out neighborhood kitti...Foxes are beautiful...watch out neighborhood kitties.

JenRURAL https://www.blogger.com/profile/11871803235521431504noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7351405029101697801.post-83978619402090750242013-11-02T19:55:52.148-04:002013-11-02T19:55:52.148-04:00Great post! We have coyotes in the area. People have been warned to keep their cats indoors because they've been disappearing; it's suspected that the coyotes have been grabbing them. I love wolves as well but glad we don't see them.
We used to have foxes nearby but the pack got hit by cars. They are so beautiful!
