Wacky Weekend Weather

Yup the weather   is the talk of  the Cove  this weekend  . All day yesterday it rained and then it all froze as it hit the land  and rained all night into the  morning of  today !JANUARY 2015 (1 of 7)JANUARY 2015 (2 of 7) Then it warmed up and was very foggy  and the ice melted but still the rain came down,  it has stopped raining for now and the winds are howling like mad  the temps are mild 5°C or 41°F  and just may drop again , thankfully all this rain wasn’t snow or we would be buried in it . Papa  ,Miggs and I have been puttering , doing laundry and watching movies . Miggs well ….she had other plans for this gloomy nasty weekend weather !

  3. Miggs looks sweet sleeping with the stuffed raccoon. A perfect way to pass a dreary wet day. Have a good week ahead!

  4. There's nothing like a rainy Sunday for justifying a pleasant, quiet day at home.

  5. A good snooze is just the right course of action!

Here we got snow all day yesterday, before it changed over to a coating of freezing rain. The temps are due to plunge yet again, so we'll have flash freezes of any water that happens to be about.

  8. The deer tracks went through my yard this morning after the sleet, ice, and snow. Thankfully we didn't get the weather that they were predicting, but I didn't venture out of the house. I don't like ice, but we are really cold with the wind chill. Happy New Year. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend Shirley
