Well it is the last day of February and freaking cold , The temps during the night dropped so low that this morning Papa’s van wouldn’t go into gear right away everything was frozen but he managed to get it warmed up and away he went .
I looked at our thermometer outside the back kitchen window BRR !!
Then I looked out the front of the house and saw this .
All though very cold this morning the sun still shines , so far the sun has been shining every day at some point !
Harley doesn't seem to mind the sun puddles that pour in !
Nice and warm but to bright mummy ! Got any kitty sunglasses ?
It is very rare I can get photos of Harley as she isn’t to keen on the camera but today she seemed to be
enjoying striking a pose or two for me lol !
Well this look is ok I have had enough of the camera mum !
This is her I am not impressed look . Well the photo shoot didn’t last long lol !
Even as cold as it is the birds are still happily flying from feeder to feeder chirping and singing ! I guess they have to keep moving to stay warm .
As for Miggs she couldn’t care about the cold she actually likes it laying on her swing in the sunshine , and doesn't mind the camera either !
So we are swinging in to March as of tomorrow , so do you think Spring will soon be here ? I hope so ! Our Robins are still here and more showed up the other day so lets hope they know something we don't !
We would like to Welcome our new followers and thank you all for popping by !
Sharing with Sunlit Sunday.
Until next time my friends !
Country Gal

Love the kitty pictures! Oh my but they can convey a mood, with just their kitty-face-eyes and body language!!! -chuckle-
Keep your faucets dripping at night!
Stay warm!
Gentle hugs,

Brrrr, is right! I guess your header is just a lovely tease of what is coming (we hope)! Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteThat is cold!! We were close to 0 this morning, but thank goodness the wind has died down. I'm with Harley...I'd love to curl up in the sun puddles with a good book! Stay warm up there! :)
ReplyDeleteharley is adorable. sure hope things warm up for you soon!
ReplyDeleteWith Robins coming back spring just has to not be far off. We are to get snow and cold Sunday. But Sat it is going to be in the low 60's. That is the weather in the south. Never know!
ReplyDeleteIt's been a long, cold winter for sure. Brrr.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping, I'm hoping ;) Great photos of furry family members plus :)
ReplyDeleteLove cats and those pics are so cozy..
ReplyDeleteCold out but Spring is coming.. xo
Oh soooo cold, no end to this winter.....love Harley, what a face, Keep Warm, Francine.
ReplyDeleteWe're dealing with the same deep freeze. February is going out kicking and screaming. I hope March starts to warm up because we're all a little beaten down this winter; it's been a tough one.
ReplyDeleteHarley is such a beautiful cat! She obviously loves basking in the sun.
Migs has a nice furry coat to warm her while she swings!
ReplyDeleteIt only got to 3F here today.
I don't think Spring will come soon here. No, no way!
Yup we knew it was winter still here this morning too, yuck! But Harley is so cute lovin the sunshine!
ReplyDeleteBurrrrr!
ReplyDeleteMiggs is adorable! My vote is for spring to come quickly; I saw a robin last Saturday so...maybe... We're still having snow/winter in the mountains of southwestern Virginia. Tonight is cold, windy and storm coming from the west, possibly south. ugh. That means a hard storm.
ReplyDeleteWe're in the deep freeze too.
ReplyDeleteHarley looks utterly gorgeous!
It's been cold here too. Ollie is also following the sun puddles around the house...
ReplyDeleteNice to see Harley in the spotlight this post, Elaine. And glad you made it home safely in the previous day's sudden storm
ReplyDeleteHarley sure is enjoying the sun. There have been lovely sunny days this week, but it hasn't fooled me into thinking it is nice outside when it was really cold.
ReplyDeleteSweet pictures of kitty. The pup seems to be quite happy. At least someone doesn't mind the cold!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! You are so right it is brrrr, here and in your neck of the woods... Your kitty and doggie are so sweet!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Gert
Miggs was brave to stay outdoors for a snooze. Harley is gorgeous and so cute the way she is trying to block some of the sun from her eyes. You're lucky to have got so many nice photos of her.
ReplyDeleteThere's no sun here for Claire the Foster Kitty, but she's found a favourite chair for a snooze.
Karen
Feeling just as lazy as your dear pets this day...It's easy cuz Duchess, Simba and Nala are great examples of how to relax!!! Wishing you well!! Cathy
ReplyDeleteOh very happy cat in the sunshine- nice shots!
ReplyDeleteHarley really did give you the look. :)) Cats don't hide their feelings well, but I do love them!
ReplyDeleteThis winter isn't giving up yet! Harley has the right idea. :)
ReplyDeleteYikes, my friend! It's beyond cold there! Your animal friends seem cozy and happy. Keep warm. Spring is coming.
