This morning when I got up I looked out the window and thought it had snowed over night but nope it was frost a bit heavier in spots then others , It was soo pretty and as I did my usual morning routine I popped out with camera in hand and of course I was in my jammies lol and took a few photos .
Just a bit of white frost on these Cedars but in the back in the forest the orange glow of the sunrise was shining on the trees !
My hanger in the garden was traced in frost !
Got a closer photo of the Cedars by our car port . Looks like sifted flour or icing sugar has been sprinkled on them !
The black of our solar light really shows the frost crystals !
And , Miggs .. well she is just being Miggs no matter the weather !
She has that what ya want now mum look lol ! I am busy licking the frost !
Looks like it will be a nice day the sun has risen over the valley the birds are busy feeding and chirping and the air is fresh, crisp , clear and invigorating well I find it is after being out in it lol and the smell of wood smoke from woodstoves and fireplaces mixed in the cold air is just wonderful ! Miggs and I are going for our walk this morning as we do every morning !
Until next time …… have a good day !

ReplyDeleteMiggs says that the frost is lovely, but not as much fun to play with as the snow!! xx
ReplyDeleteLovely frosty pics, Miggs always looks like she is enjoying herself no matter the weather.
ReplyDeleteEveryday is a surprise. Same as my photos to-day.
ReplyDeleteVery nice.
It turned out to be a lovely day here. We did grocery shopping this morning and this afternoon we are meeting with grandkids to visit Santa.

Hi there, It's cold here and the storm from up north has hit. Unfortunately, I have a party to attend tonight-I'd rather stay home where it is warm.
ReplyDeleteLove your photos.
Hugs, Noreen
Oh, lovely! I really like frost photos. You're reminded me to get outside and start looking around!
ReplyDeletePretty photos! Hope you keep having pretty weather!
ReplyDeleteThe frost on the cedars is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLovely pics of your day and miggs..
ReplyDeleteGod bless, my friend. xo
Cold days and rainy ones might make that paint color selection process easier to take being indoors. It can be a really hard decision and narrowing the choices to a handful vs. so many swatches might help make it easier, Elaine...just saying
