Yesterday , the sun was shining birdies were singing and chirping the temps were warm .
I sat out side earlier in the day and soaked up some sun fresh air and all the sounds and sights and took photos !
Mr Squirrel was having his lunch and watching Miggs at the same time !

Spring flowers are growing taller every day , why Sunday past these were just peeking above the ground !
Red wing black birds are plenty in our yard , every time they sing or squawk it reminds me of the march where they love to nest and hang on the tall grasses ! Many years ago the marsh was the only place there's birds would be but as climate and the echo system has changed so have they .
This little guy had the feeder all to himself !
Chippy peeking out of the drain pipe by the hedges that isn’t in use ! But he has made good use of it to keep hidden as he pops out every now and then to get some food from under the feeders and the bowls I put out .

The day was filled with nature being busy as spring has sprung and as they all knew it was to rain soon ! And that it did . Thunderstorms and heavy rains hit at about 8 pm last night and through the night the rain continued with the odd clap of thunder and this morning is pretty much the same . I like the smell of a fresh rain storm before during and after and the sounds of the birds all chirpy and happy as they are soaking wet lol !
April showers bring me May flowers !
So today Miggs and I will just stay in and enjoy the comforts of a rainy day !

ReplyDeleteYesterday was lovely, but things look to be changing for a few days ... big storm system moving in with rain, ice rain, snow. I guess I won't be working outside for a few days.
