Why It’s the sun !
The first glimpse of the sun in over a week yesterday evening !
We were starting to forget what it looked like !
It lasted all of 10 min then POOF ! gone again !
It is gloomy and darn right cold out now , I know it is going to snow soon , the air has that icy feel and smell to it and when a jet plane goes over it heavily echo's for ever , the tip of your nose gets cold and when you breath the air in it feels thin and cold in your chest . Being raised on a farm I still have the farmers Almanac in my blood to how to, smell, feel , see and hear the air and weather and to watch the reactions of the nature around you towards the weather . Well hopefully we will get a full day of sun soon cause we need our sunny days back don’t we Miggs ?
WOOF ! WOOF !
Until next time hope you all have a great day !

Well, we had our wet flurries and tomorrow we have wind chill...but the fire burns brightly and it's cosy indoors.

ReplyDeleteGlad you had a glimpse of the sun~~ My knee tells me when we're going to get snow!!! Happy Weekend!!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos!! My favorite is Miggy, she's so photogenic, isn't she?
ReplyDeleteBut having lived in Alaska for 10 years, you really do get that 'feel' for when snow is coming, don't you? I'm feeling it in the air too, and when I saw the sun today for the first time, I just wanted to run outside to enjoy it--But I was with a patient, and didn't think I should! :-)
I hope your week is ending on a good note!!
Glad to read that the sun has come through, Elaine. Thanks for your concern for all the folks here affected by Sandy.
ReplyDeleteSnuggle up with that sweet pup and stay warm!
