Barn Board Frame

Yesterday Papa was busy in his shop making a frame out of barn board for one of our Saddle club members .

He routered the inside edges to put the glass in .

Also had to chisel where the router couldn't get !

Cutting for the back of the frame stand !

It didn’t take him long at all to make this frame .

This is the end result ! They wanted an old type photo of them on their horses so Papa did that and decided to make the frame out of barn board  to give a more old  fashioned  farm look .

I think it all looks great !

He is making another one during the week !

Until next time hope you all have a great day !

  4. That frame really turned out great! Something that is so easy for him to make - could easily sell for $10 at a craft show! I like the idea of a b/w photo inside of it!

  8. Fantastic job.

Love those electric tools but sometimes you just have to do it by hand...and that made it even more beautiful.
