The weather yesterday was like summer . By mid afternoon it got up to 70 F . Miggy and I were out side from 10 am to 5 pm just soaking up the wonderful weather .
I did some yard work played with Miggy we even had lunch out on the patio, then watched the birds as I sat in my birding chair and took photos at the same time soaking up the sun with Miggy by my side. It is the March break for the school kids around here so the echo of kids playing , birds singing and chirping and dogs barking with the smell of yard clean up bon fires was all a welcomed thing !
These guys were busy filling their faces !
There was a bit of a breeze yesterday , to watch these little birds hang on is funny !
Mr & Mrs Dove !
My fav bird the Robin !
Every time I moved to get a better photo of him he would move so I couldn't ! Cheeky guy !
Miggy , comfy believe it or not in her old puppy bed ! After she just finished treeing a Squirrel !
Miggy is much better coughed once yesterday after running a round but no coughing today !
Today is warm but there is thunder rolling around right now . We need the rain as the winter didn't give us much snow for the ground ! Never reached a perma frost this winter so lots of rain will be welcomed !
Until next time hope you all have a great day !
Country Gal
Beautiful spring day, but I really love the smell of spring rain. Glad Miggy is on the mend.
ReplyDeleteWhat welcome signs of Spring. The bird photos are just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWe are having a lovely day now but rain is on it's way. Your photo's are just great.
ReplyDeleteWe've had some beautiful weather in my neck of the woods as well. Today I was out scrubbing my porch down.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a BEAUTIFUL spring day :)
ReplyDeleteStewey
I'm so glad you're out and enjoying the weather, and that your girl Miggy is feeling better too!!
ReplyDeleteRain is coming here too--I'm going to set up my rain-barrel because with Mother Nature who knows what the spring will or will not bring!
We have rain too! Such an early spring.
ReplyDeleteRobins are my favorite too! I was watching one today messing around with my motorcycle.
ReplyDeleteOne another note, I LOVE the picture of your house, it's so beautiful! Ours was built in the 1920's and was originally not intended to be a house (fun to deal with now!) It was a bunk house cowboys used a couple times a year for cow work. There have been two additions but the floors are real wood, and it has a tin roof, no insulation; nothing under the floors but dirt!
You do have a good variety of birds . The only one we don't get is the cardinal although we have had the occasional vagrant.
ReplyDeleteSure looks springlike
ReplyDeleteI love your new header pic! Looks so inviting :)
ReplyDeleteWe have been having beautiful weather here and I am just waiting for a spring storm...its just to nice out.
Beautiful spring is coming! I love you photos, those birds are just lovely. Thanks for sharing :D
ReplyDeleteMiggy looks like such a sweetie!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great day. It was so hot here yesterday - we had record highs (already).
I hope Miggy is ok & she's not sick!
ReplyDeleteThank you for including Landon in your prayers... very much appreciated! =)
Enjoyed reading the post and looking at all the pictures.
