    So beautiful and graceful. In my area, there are the Sandhill Cranes. They arrive the first week of October and stay until mid March. I love to watch them and to hear their calls as they fly overhead.

    Two of my favorite birds. It will be quite some time before we see the swans. The geese stay here all winter where there's open water. Great theme!

    I have only seen the tundra swans once in my life, they are beautiful in flight, and what's prettier yet, is spring is on its way!!

    My husband and I just saw a flock of geese yesterday. It's early to see them here in NH but it's been such a mild winter. Love seeing them.
