Some Of This & That

FEBRUARY 2017 (1 of 30)

Above are the Tundra Swans flying over . The Canadian Geese have been on their Spring flight path as well landing in the fields and river where they like to nest.

The weather has been glorious . This morning was foggy but the sun took care of that ,  sunny and temps hitting highs of 14C or 58F .

Not quite like your weather but getting there. Nice at +12 right now. The snow is melting...hooray!It's so fun to start seeing birds back that were absent all winter. I saw a robin today. Our mourning doves stayed all winter. And the birds are singing their heads off today. "Hi Miggs"

Your Miggs is enjoying himself. It doesn't look like spring here yet. We have a lot of snow on the ground but it's good insulation for the house. You must get a much earlier spring than we do because we won't see geese until the end of March and for sure not until April. I am anxious for it to come though but we will have a lot more of winter here yet. Your photos are wonderful! Have a lovely rest of the week.

Blessings,
Sandi

I've never seen tundra swans, but my sister in Woodstock has seen a field turn white when they descend. Enjoy the spring weather, despite the rain ;)
