Yesterday

It turned out to be a lovely day yesterday . Miggs and I enjoyed the afternoon out side  !

JANUARY 2015 (2 of 23)

This little sparrow insists on squeezing in and out of this Wren house and is determined to take it over as his winter home .  I hope he  moves out by summer time when Mrs Molly our Wren comes back lol !

Miggs enjoying the mild winter day and sunshine beaming down on her !

JANUARY 2015 (10 of 23)

Hard to see in this photo but lots of birds were back and forth all day feasting at the feeders in the sun shine chirping like crazy !    Then I came in to make supper of tomatoe soup and grilled cheese sandwiches and stopped to take photos of the pretty sun set  ! I went up to our upstairs hall window opened the window took out the screen to get a better view  as the sun was setting in the south west .

JANUARY 2015 (13 of 23)

I took a few photos as it was getting lower and lower on the horizon !

JANUARY 2015 (22 of 23)

The clouds were rolling in more and more !

JANUARY 2015 (23 of 23)

Then before I knew it the sun was lower and harder to take photos of .

JANUARY 2015 (11 of 23)

In between the sun setting I took this photo of the ice on our roof as I liked the way it looked with the reflection of the sun set on it and a photo of Harley at the bottom of the stairs in the sun set light !

JANUARY 2015 (1 of 1)-2

She has her tongue out as she just finished yawning  such a tuff life Harley leads, sleeping all day lol Miggs was out side during all this as she just had her dinner ! So that was the sun set all done and I went back to finishing up supper and settle for the evening with Papa and the girls !

Cold and windy today with cloud so far don't know what the weather has in store for us today  defiantly not what the weather network said  and that was sunshine , no sunshine here so far today !

                                                                     Until next time !

The ice is amazing.

Glad you're not head deep in snow.

We've had sun today but the temperatures is rising to mourned zero Celsius tomorrow, so it will probably be a dull day. Not much going on today, a bit of organizing in the basement and some time on the computer.

The sun finally came out in the Hill Country in Texas around 3 this afternoon, so we were glad to see it, even though we always need the rain. Got 2 1/2 inches, so praise the Lord. Harley is a pretty kitty! you know I love Miggs.

That is a cute photo of the sparrow in the birdhouse hole. We are gong to get a big nor'easter tomorrow night with quite a bit of snow. Have a great weekend!

The sunset is beautiful! I hope that there doesn't have to be a bird eviction when spring comes! xx

Your sunset photos are gorgeous. We are having much the same weather as I think we are about 5 or 6 hours in distance. Lots of sun all week has made working at the property so nice. Thanks for your encouraging comment today. I'm sure I will nestle in there quickly; especially with Spring around the corner. Have a great weekend, Deb

Elaine, you have captured some beautiful sunsets. It seems to me that winter sunsets are at times more impressive than any other season of the year. And, yes, Harley does have a "tough" life.
