A CAMPERS TYPE MORNING

Its 8:45 in the morning. I am sitting outside as I write this on our patio on my new lap top having my coffee  as Miggy is chasing Squirrels and bunny’s.  For all you that have camped and remember these types of mornings , the weather is just like a campers morning, cool with a thin layer of cloud in threat of rain but the sun keeps trying to come out, you can feel the dampness and smell the sweet smell of grasses, trees and flowers in the cool fresh breeze. The birds sound like a symphony  as it echo's through out and all the critters are active . This kind of morning always reminds me of a camping morning . I am soo lucky and blessed to live in the country and have all the wonders of nature around me , its like camping every day, only with more lugeries lol.

Hope you all have a nice  campers type day !

Amen to the country life....I to feel so blessed! Sounds like your having a morning just like ours here in Northern Indiana, I have the house opened up and the smells coming through are so wonderful! Our Lilacs are in full bloom with their aroma!

I know exactly what you mean! I get the same feeling when I walk down the driveway to get the paper on mornings like this!

I loved this Post! I go outside each morning before coffee to throw the ball for Hank.

This morning I smelled the fresh air and also thought about camping. I contemplated sitting outside to have coffee but my winter habits are hard to break so I went into my sunny livingroom, just as I have all winter. You inspire me to clean up my outdoor furniture and start sitting outside. :)

When we lived at the farm and the weather was nice would would often drag out matresses on to the lawn and go to sleep right there with the star for our ceiling and then in the morning we would be woken by bird song. Such pleasures are free and simple yet few people actually get to enjoy them which makes me feel blessed indeed.

Living outside a city IS a wonderful thing, Elaine. We are not exactly in the country but in a small town (pop 500) and we enjoy sitting on the frong porch watching the world go by or NOT. ENjoyed previous posts this week, but didn't get a chance to comment when blooger was out of service. ENjoy your weekend. Miggy is looking great.
